History: Koga has never been described as talented, skilled, gifted or anything of that nature. He has been told many times that he would never amount to anything and that he was more likely to be killed on the spot as soon as he got his first mission. This did not deter Koga however. He used this as his fire and his drive. From a very young age Koga was outcasted from his clan. The sakura, who are very skilled at using plant based techniques, are a skilled clan who pride themselves in their excellence in battle. There is a ritual which each sakura clan member has to go through called the recieving of the seed. In this ritual, the clan member must consume the seed of the sakura and allow it to flourish within them. After about 10 minutes, the clan member would be able to germinate a small flower in their hands. This was seen as a simple ritual but, Koga, no matter how hard he tried, could not even create a stalk. This was the first time anything like this had ever happened and so no one was really sure what to do. Koga was embarrassed and made it his goal to further his skill so that his clan members would respect him. He spent the next few years of his life perfecting his body and studying everything he could about being a ninja.
