The Hyuuga Clan



The Clan History

The Hyuuga clan were one of the founding noble families of Leaf village. The clan itself is said to be the ancestors of the Uchiha clan who possess the bloodline of the Sharingan eye. Each clan member possess the "Byakugan" or "White Eye." When the "Byakugan" is activated, the clan member gains an extra-sensory perception, which gives them penetrating sight and telescopic vision. This allows them to see the internal chakra circulation system in other beings. This vision also grants the member a near 360° view of their surroundings. The higher the skill of the clan member, the further the distance from which they can sense incoming attacks. Unfortunately the vision does have a weakness, a small blindspot that extends outwards from their upper back.

Their great powers lead to internal strife within the family. Because the eye grants such a unique and powerful ability, the clan became possessive and over-protective of it. Seeing only the main family as worthy users and inheritors of the eye, the heads of the clan began to place restrictions on those branch family members not in power. What resulted were two Hyuuga lines, the powerful main family who would represent the line, and the branch family who were directed to protect the main family and bear the cursed seal.

The cursed seal is placed on the foreheads of branch family members. It serves as a means to protect the secrets of the Hyuuga Byakugan eye. If the branch family member was to ever betray the main family or be killed in battle, the seal would be activated to destroy the body's secrets. Thus forcing the branch family to further bow to the will of the main family.


The Bloodline



The Byakugan (白眼, Byakugan? literally "White Eye," English manga "Evil Eye") is an eye technique (瞳術, dōjutsu?) that naturally occurs in members of the Hyuga clan. Byakugan users are characterized by their lavender, pupil-less eyes. When the Byakugan is activated, their pupils somewhat appear and the veins near their temples bulge. Possessors of the Byakugan are also capable of using the Gentle Fist style of combat.

A person with the Byakugan has a nearly 360 degree field of vision, except for a small blind spot at the back of the neck above the third vertebrate. Byakugan users can detect anything around them within a small radius, the greater the users skill with the Byakugan the larger the radius is, which makes them close-range combat experts. Neji Hyuga manages to increase the radius from 50 meters to over 800 meters during the timeskip. The Byakugan also gives the user the ability to see through basically any matter over extremely long distances. A small degree of telescopic vision is also present, as a Byakugan user can focus on a single object at any point within their range of vision. The degree of focus seems to be dependent on the skill of the user. The Byakugan's insight capacity makes it useful for searching, tracking, and identifying targets.

The Byakugan is advanced though practice and with time.



Level 1- Can roughly see the CCS and can see a radius of 50 meters around. Can see large amounts of chakra in the air(genin-chunin.) .5 to activate and .5 to maintain

Level 2- Can see CCS quite clearly and can see a radius of 100 meters around. Can see medium amounts of chakra in the air(genin-chunin.) 1 to activate and .5 to maintain.

Level 3- Can see CCS perfectly and can see a radius of 200 meters and extend to 2 Km. Can see small amounts of chakra in the air.(chunin-jounin.) 1 to activate and .5 to maintain.

Level 4- Can see CCS insightfully and manipulate it with little effort and see starting at a radius of 400 meters and extending to 5 Km. Can see when opponents are building chakra leading to insight into an attack.(chunin-jounin.) 1 to activate and 1 to maintain.

Ascended- Can see everything except for objects in the blind spot within an 800 meter radius to a microscopic degree, and can extend the radius to up to 10 Km with concentration. Can see type, and form of chakra before it is converted into a technique, leading to huge insight into a technique.(Jounin and above.) 1 to activate and 1 to maintain.

Chakra Control Levels
The Hyuuga Clan, in addition to their powerful Byakugan, carry another, extremely valuable supplementary skill. It is none other than the ability to have a mastery of chakra control so attuned it is said that no person out of the Hyuuga Clan can mastery such a high level of chakra control. This skill is passive, and automatically learned, seeing as it is in the Hyuuga's very genes. Though, to achieve a higher chakra controll, the user must practice chakra molding to enlarge his chakra pathways, and make his Juuken attacks more devastating.

Chakra Control Adepcy: This is the first level of advanced chakra control that can be possessed by the Hyuuga Clan. Using it, the user can utilize chakra from his or her more prominent body parts, such as the hands or the feet, a necessity for Juuken. Genin Level

Chakra Control Mastery: This is an enhancement on the already quite advanced mastery of chakra control achieved by the previous level. Using it, the user can utilize chakra from every pore in their body, as well as the capacity to insert far more chakra from their other body parts, as used by Juuken. Chuunin Level

Chakra Control Superiority: The final verse of Hyuuga Clan advanced chakra control, one that can generally only be achieved within the ranks of the most powerful of Hyuuga Clan members. Using it, the user can not only utilize their chakra so throughly that it can b exterted from the pores and such, but have mastery of even their inner chakra workings. Using it, the user can destroy most threats to their body, such as poison, provided they can contrate, as well as shield internal organs with chakra. They can even strengthen muscles from within using chakra. This level of chakra control can enhance Juuken's power to a new extreme. Sannin Level

Name: Hakke Kuushou(Empty Palm)

Description: is a ranged Taijutsu technique utilized by Hyuuga Neji. Extending chakra from his body, Neji will thrust his palm at his target. This will send out an invisible wave of chakra which can knock his opponent back. It is unknown if this wave can also collapse his target's tenketsu points.



Name: Hakke Rokujuuyonshou(Eight Trigrams 64 Palms)

Description:is a Taijutsu technique unique to the Hyuuga bloodline. Hakke Rokujuuyonshou is a special technique passed down through the main family line. When an opponent is within the clan members divination field of attack, they can quickly begin their assault. The technique allows the clan member to use the Byakugan eye to see the inner chakra coils system. Using the Jyuuken style, they can force their chakra through their hands into the tenketsu of the opponent's body through 126 strikes. First the clan member will strike 2 times, then 4, 8, 16, 32 and finally 64. This damage forceably closes 64 tenketsu, stopping the chakra flow of the opponent. This then limits their opponents ability to use jutsu.

Description: is a Taijutsu technique unique to the Hyuuga bloodline. Hakke Hyakunijuuhachishou is a variation of Hakke Rokujuuyonshou, a technique passed down through the main family line. When an opponent is within the clan members divination field of attack, they can quickly begin their assault. The technique allows the clan member to use the Byakugan eye to make nearly double the normal 126 strikes, striking 254 times against their individual foe or opponents. First the clan member will strike 2 times, then 4, 8, 16, 32, 64 and finally 128 times.



Name: Hakke Rokuyankuijinchishouan(Eight Trigrams 361 Palms)

Description: is a Taijutsu technique unique to the Hyuuga bloodline. Hakke Rokuyankuijinchishouan is a variation of Hakke Rokujuuyonshou, a technique passed down through the main family line. When an opponent is within the clan members divination field of attack, they can quickly begin their assault. The technique allows the clan member to use the Byakugan eye to make not only the normal 254 strikes, but 361 times against their individual foe or opponents. First the clan member will strike 2 times, then 4, 8, 16, 32, 64,128 and then 256. This closes all of an opponents chakra points. Renders opponents in critical condition for weeks.



Name: Hakkeshou Kaiten(Eight Trigrams Heavenly Rotation)

Description:is a Taijutsu technique unique to the Hyuuga bloodline using the Jyuuken. Kaiten is a special technique passed down through the main family line. Kaiten takes advantage of several of the unique abilities of the Byakugan eye. Byakugan gives the clan member an almost complete 360 degree view of their surroundings. This allows the member to see all angles of attack.
If an attack is near, the clan member will release a large of amount of chakra from their tenketsu. The member then begins to spin like a top, creating a whirling vortex that can nullify almost any attack.




Name: Hakkeshou Rendan Kai Nodai (Eight Trigrams Eight gates closing)

Description: A hyuuga can close the eight gates, leading to extreme fatigue, chakra loss, or death.


Name: Shugo Hakke Rokujuuyonshou(Protection of the Eight Trigrams 128 Palms)

Description:is a Taijutsu technique developed by Hyuuga Hinata. During the period after the Chuunin Exam, Hinata pushed herself harder than ever before. During this time she improved her chakra control and developed her own style within the Hyuuga bloodline abilities. She practiced the technique around water to hone it to perfection. Utilizing the Hakke Rokujuuyonshou style, Hinata uses her natural flexibility and her precise chakra control to create an absolute defense.
The user will emit chakra from their palms and move her arms in sweeping pattern movements to provide a full 360 degree range of protection for their body. This chakra will be also be able to cut through most any target which dares penetrate the protective sphere. By expelling a sharper, stronger and more flexible amount of chakra, the user can increase it's effectiveness against more massive incoming objects.

The user then drives with incredible speed and force into their target, creating an almost unrivaled explosive collision, easily destroying anything within the blast radius of 5 meters. Description: utilizing the High level Hyuuga's superior chakra control ability, the user strengthens and fortifies the muscles to produce a short burst of speed greater than that of the upper level eight gates. Requires Hyuuga superior chakra control, and shadow of the dancing leaf.



Name: White haze death

Description: fighting style/jutsu that employs a highly, highly refined version of the white haze dance, a member of the Hyuuga clan can reach into the body of his opponent and grasp the very essence of his chakra.
